Verano / Summer...

Fuimos cerrando paredes alrededor del hexágono, empezando por el "cuarto frío". Usamos la técnica de quincha, o pared francesa. Gracias a varios amigos mendocinos por la ayuda! 

We worked on enclosing a number of walls around the central hexagon, starting with the cold storage room. We used the "waddle and daub"technique. Thank you to our friends from Mendoza for your help!

Paredes que conectan la entrada-invernadero con un hall frío-pasillo.

Walls that connect the entryway-greenhouse with a mud room-hallway. 

Otoño / Fall...

Entrada-invernadero en la cara norte.
Nos encanta como el sol lo calienta de día!

Entryway-greenhouse on the North side.
We love how the sun heats it up during the day!

El banco de barro como parte de la estufa es muuuy agradable
para sentarse calentito (aún por completar y mejorar).

The mud bench connected to the wood stove is veeery nice
and warm to sit on (and it's not even finished yet).

Mantenimiento de una de las caras más expuestas al agua.

Maintenance on one of the most exposed walls.

Y ya hicimos una remodelación del baño! También, por terminarse.

And we've already remodeled the bathroom! Also, to be completed.
